The Science Behind Gas Struts: How They Work
Gas struts operate based on the principles of physics and mechanics. At their core, they consist of a sealed cylinder filled with nitrogen gas. The cylinder houses a piston that moves in response to external forces. When the piston is pushed down (compressed), the gas inside the cylinder is also compressed, generating pressure that pushes back against the piston. This creates a lifting force that allows for smooth, controlled movement.
