Cabinet Approves MSP Hike for 14 Kharif Crops UPSC

The Union Cabinet in a meeting chaired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has recently approved MSP for 14 kharif crops for the years 2023-24. This decision has been made in a bid to satisfy the objectives of protecting the farmers and also to try and achieve higher production of crops in the agricultural sector within the country by offering remunerative prices to the farmers.
